King CookDaily has been revolutionising the London vegan scene since 2015, with a one of a kind menu, two Boxpark establishments and a dedicated following.

King has collaborated with the likes of Stella McCartney, Adidas, New Balance and Hypebeast on projects and CookDaily kitchen takeovers. CookDaily is the flagship name at Truman Brewery's Vegan Nights and last summer saw the team bring CookDaily to grime superstars Boy Better Know's o2 Arena takeover and Skepta's solo events.

Now, King's teamed up with high street staple 'noodle bar' Wagamama, to create his own signature dish, #COOKMAMA.

The dish is a perfectly spicy bed of curried udon noodles with paprika-dusted shichimi-coated tofu, wok-fried asparagus, tenderstem broccoli, carrot, cauliflower, shiitake mushrooms and red onion, finished with spring onions, fresh coriander and a sesame and yuzu dressing.

We spoke to King about the collaborations and the growth of CookDaily culture in the vegan community. He said:

"I’m out here running around doing collabs for fun! My ideas of fun are different just like my food! #cookdailyculture is my gate to activism! It’s still 'Vegan NoBlood NoBones'”

COOKMAMA will be served in Wagamama's Noodle Lab in Dean St, Soho for at least the next few months, and will be available at CookDaily very soon. Keep an eye on King CookDaily's Instagram for updates.
